Curbside Enterprises operates four social enterprises and a support services program, providing low-barrier income opportunities, supportive employment, and housing case management.
Our Programs
Curbside Chronicle is a street paper that provides low-barrier income opportunities. People in this program tend to have the highest barriers to employment and are often struggling with street homelessness. This is the entry point into our programs and often the entry point into the community’s housing system, including our housing case management program.
The magazine provides a quality product for people to sell as an alternative to panhandling. It seeks to provide a positive way for people who are housed and unhoused to interact. The magazine works to humanize and put a face to the issue of homelessness and educate the community about social issues. It also helps participants learn social skills, time management, and money management skills.

Curbside Flowers is a full-service flower shop bringing beauty to our community while providing employment and training to people transitioning out of homelessness in OKC. Curbside Flowers provides daily deliveries, a retail shop, wedding, and event floral.
The program provides a more traditional work environment with set hours for people transitioning out of homelessness and working to stabilize in housing. Each vendor completes a floral certification program courtesy of OSU-OKC and is trained in our retail shop. The program works with people on developing communication, problem solving, time management, customer services, attention to detail, and other basic job skills.

Curbside Apparel is a full-service screen printing shop on a mission to provide dignified employment and job skills training to people transitioning out of homelessness. We specialize in printing shirts, hoodies, tote bags, and posters for organizations – we can print anywhere from 20 to 10,000 shirt orders! We also work with local artists to create our own screen-printed products available to purchase through our website, at Curbside Flowers, pop-up shops, or other retail locations.
Each order placed provides hands-on projects for people in our supportive employment program – teaching them skills and putting income in their pocket.

Sasquatch Shaved Ice is a youth employment program for people ages 15-24 who are below the poverty line or at risk of homelessness. Sasquatch currently operates a snow cone stand in the Plaza District on N.W. 16th and has a mobile unit available to rent for events. In addition to employment, Sasquatch works with youth on financial literacy and life skills to help set them up for future success.

The support services program of Curbside Enterprises provides housing case management, working with people in our programs to secure and maintain housing, address the issues that led to their homelessness, develop budgets, work on basic life skills, and connect with other community resources like mental health and addiction treatment.

Each holiday season, Curbside teams up with ten local artists to design custom wrapping paper. Each package of wrapping paper features five different holiday designs from your favorite local artists, is printed locally and can be purchased from Curbside vendors, at pop-up shops, or online from approximately early November through Christmas.
